The Culinary Theatre
Cooking is an art, perhaps the only art that entices all the five senses.
In the 20th century, it was said that "the only way to reach a man's heart is through his stomach"; hence every girl learnt cooking since a very early age and gained expertise in the same. While with changing times, the adage doesn't hold true because cooking cannot be the only way to impress men.
In the fast moving world, where most of the boys stay away from their hometowns for either studies or work understood the need of learning how to cook so that they don't have to depend on outside food and can cook any dish according to their wish.
Moreover, we are in an era where hospitality industry is at its zenith. Good chefs are in demand, making Cooking a booming profession.
For me, cooking is a hobby and I feel very happy and relieved of my stress whenever I cook.
Some lines that expresses my own idea towards cooking:
When life doesn't taste yum and chocolaty,
People even behave bitter and salty,
I enter into the stage of my culinary theatre,
To add into life a fruitful flavor,
I put on my apron,
Ready to perform,
I play a thousand delicious recipies
Trying every possible notes on the chords of colorful veggies,
I dance to the tunes of chopping voices
And sizzling sausages,
I cry when my judgmental onions frown,
While my eyes glitter when sauted they turn golden brown,
Finally when a savory aroma announces a new creation,
I am immersed in the brewery of immense joy & satisfaction.
